CurT@!n$ a Rap Artist from Brooklyn New York who along with putting out great music also commands a terrific sense of style.
Could you introduce yourself to everyone out there?
They call me Dope Boy C, DoPE or sometimes they call me CurT@!n$…
What does the name Curt@!n$? mean?
Curtains means to just shut it down, every city every town..
How did you get into music?
I heard LL Cool J rap and that was it from there, I wanted to be that and I tried my hand at it.
What are your influences?
Art and life, i’m influenced by anything artistic in the world and my surroundings definitely influence me.
How did coming from the Brooklyn battle rap culture influence you?
It just made me more sharp in my delivery and more witty in my lyrics.
What was the first song that made you want to make music?
EPMD “Rampage”
How would you describe your sound?
Aggressive Emotion… Thats my sound, its edgy but its emotional at the same time.
How did you get into fashion?
I have no idea, I just woke up one morning and realized that I wanted to dress better than everyone…
How would you describe your fashion sense?
Monocromatic minimalism…

How does your sense of style influence your music?
It doesn’t… I don’t look how my music sounds, but it works.
What do you look for in your beats?
melody, simple loops, and killer keys…

Performing… I love performing and being infront of the crowd.

I read alot and I draw.
