“Lametrius White, also Metri, is a very profound, quiet young lady residing in the Bronx. I see her as a very interesting characer and throughout every altercation we’ve ever had, I’ve always had the urge to snap photos of her. Our time finally came last week Wednesday, when as i was leaving school, i saw her crossing the street. Yelling “Metri!” without any second thoughts, we linkedup engaged in conversation and took some photos. We Conversed about people we know, intoxication and summer plans, in particular free concerts. We came to a general consensus that, attending free concerts this summer would be a main priority. Lametrius is the woman that turned me onto Emay, one of my favorite artists now, Check outemay.bandcamp.com for their music. We landed some solid photos, she is great in front of the camera.”

A few weeks ago a friend we both share who goes by the name of Bossman sent me a link to this video, my first guess what that it either was one of those pranking videos so i hesitated to click it. to only be fooled it was an amazing video entitled “Satori” the first thing i did was google “Satori” not only because it was a word i’ve never heard but also because the word stood out to mean, i found out it mean “Sudden Enlightenment” or “Understand” so i continued to watch the video & fell in love with the beats, the first time running through the video i couldnt really comprehend the lyrics so i turned the volume all the way up & tuned out. T’was an amazing poem, i read the description & it gave me an understanding that she is releasing an EP & ‘”Satori” was the into you can click HERE to download the poem
