Whats your name, age & where are you from?
Well, hello there.. My name is Shanell Aasimah, im fifteen years old and im from LAdera Heights.
Tell me about yourself.
Uh, this one is kind of hard because im still in the process of finding myself,
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to visit museums , hang out with my artsy friends, read books, watch documentaries, visit libraries, eat sushi and write.
What are some benefits of owning your own business and running it?
YOU DA BOSS. *i felt like being ignorant right there, but na its like you have something of your own, you know? like something you created! DOESNT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT !
Whats Rautten Culture?
Rautten Culture is an online magazine, dont wanna use the word “blog” sounds too cliche.
How did you come up with the name?It sorta just popped up into my head, one day i was sitting in my room on my bed and i decided i wanted to change the domain name of my first blog and i always wanted it to have culture in the name so i was like “Rotten Culture” but that sounded too gross and it didnt look good so i came up with a different way to spell “ROTTEN” and taadaa “RAUTTEN CULTURE” was born.

Found a couple of cool people that shared the same thoughts and ideas about fashion and basically ran with it. First starting off it was only me but i knew i was incapable of running it by myself so i scouted out for some help and i ran into some amazing people and those people were down since day one and still are down, and thats how this whole “Culture” thing started.
Whats the message that you want to come out of Rautten Culture?
I want others to appreciate ones own cultural similarities and differences.I really want to spread positivity throughout the community, and hopefully give people that push that they need to achieve their goals and follow their dreams.
Any inspiration that led to creating it?
My environment, where i live inspires me because i run into a lot of unique people, and they always tell me the same thing “being inspired is good, but inspiring others is a AMAZING” i took that into consideration and that is what i do, inspire others to do something they want to do even if others disapprove you have to have a positive mental attitude and have faith in yourself.
What do you see ahead for Rautten Culture in the next five years?
Launch of our magazine, Launch of our clothing line, more interviews, opening up a store.Ive actually been in the process of making those things happen for the last few months so without a doubt within the next couple of years you will hear about RAUTTEN CULTURE all over.
If anything, what would you want to improve about Rautten Culture?
The blogging patterns, i feel as if i dont have that completely organized, like i post whenever i feel like it and i need to change that and start posting everyday, i also would like to explain myself and the item or person i am speaking about better to give our viewers a detailed post.
Whats expected to be seen in the magazine being published next year?
THIS IS CLASSIFIED INFORMATION, WE WANT TO KEEP YOU ALL WAITING TO SEE 😉 . JUST KNOW YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED’ IF YOU DOWN THE THA CULTURE.
Any recent collaborations with other brand/companies?
nope, but we have some great stuff coming up, we would like you all to look forward to an interview with Vashtie Kola and once that is set, we may be in for a possible collaboration on a tshirt with her so we will keep our viewers updated on that.

Losing Interest .

Describe the music-making process.
Im not too fond with that, i dont make music i just vibe with it, haha.
Is there a specific genre these artist consist of?
Nope, each and every one of them are different, and therefore they all create a different type of vibe, and i personally think that is amazing because im tired of hearing the same thing.
Do you believe that these artist can make it big?
Of course i do, i believe anyone with the talent and the right mentally can far.
What advice do you have for people who want to do their own business?
Dont take on a task you cant be fully dedicated to, but if its something you really want to pursue go for it! you may have success stoppers trying to bring you down and/or filling your head with negative thoughts but you have to live above all of that and follow your DREAMS, and even if your parents dont support you, dont live up to their expectations achieve your goals and live your dream, and always remember to STAY GOLDEN.
